Iraq: Fake Doctor Films Victims with Secret Camera
Security authorities in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, uncovered a secret camera disguised as a lamp, used by an individual posing as a cosmetic surgeon to film female victims and blackmail them for money.
The security forces arrested the impostor who was performing cosmetic procedures in his clinic.
According to local media, a security source from the directorate confirmed that “the operation was carried out following a complaint received by the authorities, indicating that a cosmetic surgeon was blackmailing a woman with photos and videos taken during her visits to the clinic. After obtaining judicial approvals, the clinic was raided, revealing that the man was not a real doctor and had assumed this identity to profit from the cosmetic clinic.”
The source added that “after searching and inspecting the clinic, a secret camera was found inside a lamp, used to film women undergoing cosmetic procedures on intimate body areas, before blackmailing them.”
