It Don’t Live in the River… Dead Sharks Terrify Residents of an American State

A strange sight amazed the residents of the American state of Idaho, as unfamiliar types of shark fish were washed up by the waters on the banks of the Salmon River.

The Salmon River, also known as the “River of No Return,” is a river located in the state of Idaho in the western United States.

According to reports, the dead fish found are a type of salmon shark, predators that can grow up to 10 feet long and weigh up to 1000 pounds. They are supposed to live in the oceans, which means their presence would threaten the fish ecosystem within the river.

Redfish Lake and Little Redfish Lake, through which the river flows, are considered the final stop for the longest migration of red salmon fish before they head to the Pacific Ocean in North America.

The Idaho Department of Fish and Game stated that they assume “someone dropped this off on the beach for a laugh; could have been a great April Fool’s joke.”
