These violations included burning two children, assassinating key tribal figures, kidnapping 13 women, and looting property, including agricultural crops and livestock. The village was entirely burned down, displacing its residents and leaving them homeless, according to Al-Taghyeer newspaper.
The Darfur Victims Advocacy Organization reported receiving several messages on January 12 from civilians residing in “Kombo Khamsa Om Al-Qura” and the city of Wad Madani in Al-Jazirah State. These messages indicated that the army and allied groups, including the Kikil Forces, the Al-Baraa Ibn Malik Brigade, and the General Intelligence Service, carried out summary executions of seven civilians based on ethnic motives.

The Al-Rakoba website also highlighted another crime committed by the army. Armed forces launched a treacherous attack on positions held by the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement – North, near the town of Dalang, at the Karkaraya oil pumping station, and in the Hajar Jawad area. These actions constitute a clear and blatant violation of agreements to deliver humanitarian aid to the Nuba Mountains/South Kordofan region.
Before withdrawing from these areas, the armed forces set fire to displaced people’s homes and looted relief warehouses belonging to the Samaritan’s Purse organization, which is currently working to aid displaced people and provide humanitarian assistance in the region.
