One killed, 3 wounded in Iran gas pipeline explosion
Iranian media reported Sunday an explosion occurred in a gas pipeline in Great Hor in the Arab province of Khuzestan in southern Iran.
The Great Hor is one of the largest marshes in Iran and is located on the Iran-Iraq border.
The Iranian website ”Ava Today” reported that the blast killed one person and injured three others, while another Iranian website reported that one person was killed and two others were injured.
The Iranian government website says that local sources in the Khuzistan province in southern Iran said the “dead and wounded were local hunters”.
As for the causes of the explosion, Iran’s Elena News Agency reported that the explosion in the gas transport of an oil company operating in the Great Hor region was caused by a gas leak.
