Spreading of the Extremist Ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood… The Southern Transitional Council Blames Certain Entities

The Southern Transitional Council (STC) has made new accusations against ministries and government institutions. claiming they are enabling the influence of the Muslim Brotherhood.

According to the Al-Mokha news agency. the STC’s presidency has accused the Ministry of Religious Endowments and Guidance of facilitating the spread of the extremist ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood in the south.

In its meeting last Thursday, attended by several ministers and government officials, the STC presidency expressed concerns about the dangers of the extremist Brotherhood ideology in the region. after their failure to undermine the achievements of the southern people and their armed forces in dismantling terrorist groups across all provinces.

In this regard, the STC called on the government. represented by the leadership of the Ministry of Religious Endowments and Guidance. to halt any activities aimed at harming the south and its people’s cause. They urged the ministry to direct its efforts and capabilities towards countering the deviant ideologies of terrorist groups. which seek to distort the sound social consciousness inspired by the teachings of our noble Islamic religion.

The STC also warned of the dangers of continuing to bring in religious figures from outside the south to spread the extremist Brotherhood ideolog. and the appointment of these preachers in mosques in some districts of the southern provinces. instead of in the northern areas under Houthi militia control. or in the liberated areas where the ministry’s activities should be strengthened.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Religious Endowments and Guidance had previously issued a directive for mosques in liberated areas to dedicate the Friday. sermon to discussing the symbolism of the September 26 Revolution, coinciding with its 62nd anniversary. and to highlight its role in eliminating superstition, ignorance, and slavery.
