Sirens sounded in the greater Tel Aviv area on Monday evening, and the Israeli army reported that three surface-to-surface missiles were fired from Lebanon toward the greater Tel Aviv area.
The Israeli army added, “Following the alerts that were triggered a short while ago in central Israel, we detected three missiles launched from Lebanon,” noting that fighter jets had attacked the missile launch platform.
Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the missile launches, stating in a communiqué today that it had bombed Tel Aviv the day before yesterday with the “Qader 2” missile, which had entered service that same day.

The group revealed the specifications of the new missile, claiming that its engineers had developed it. The key features are as follows:

- Used to strike strategic targets with high precision
- Warhead weighing 405 kilograms
- High destructive capacity

Hezbollah further announced that its engineers had developed a new missile, the “Nasr 1,” which entered service on Monday. Its main specifications are as follows:
- Precision surface-to-surface missile
- Diameter of 302 mm
- Warhead weighing 100 kilograms
- Range of 100 kilometers
- Used to strike targets with precision
- Capable of deceiving air defense systems
- Immune to jamming systems
