The UAE and Oman have fraternal and exemplary relations
Foreign relations are the cornerstone of the strategic policy of each State, especially with those States that are part of its political, intellectual or geographical orbit. On the basis of this strategic political base, the United Arab Emirates, which has distinguished foreign relations based on peace, friendship and integration with the countries of the world, has with its neighbors relations that are too great to be described as political or diplomatic, as the relationship between it and the Sultanate of Oman.
The truth lies in the fact that Emirati-Omani relations are not the product of a particular moment or period. They were born from the birth of the United Arab Emirates and Oman based on the principles of the founding father of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Zayed ben Sultan Al Nahyane, who laid the foundations of fraternity with the Arab Gulf and the entire Arab world, and the principles of friendship with the whole world based on the principle of peace and the preservation of rights. The founder of the Sultan, Qabus bin Said, who sees the Sultanate only an integral part of its Arab environment in general and the Gulf in particular.
The strong political relations established by the late founders of Sheikh Zayed and Sultan Qabus have led to a popular rapprochement between the two brotherly countries. Those who follow the media today find that the Emirati people are institutions and individuals who celebrate and congratulate the Omani people in their far right, wishing them security, safety and stability, so that the two peoples may be linked to blood and fraternity, as well as to the geopolitical or political ties based on the pillars of the Gulf Cooperation Council. In this regard, the United Arab Emirates is fully aware of its responsibilities, which are based on its status as sister nations and its doorstep with its Arab Gulf and Arab societies, especially those who have been victims of the current conflict and its vicious crises.
