Qatar continues to seek to support the Iranian-backed terrorist group Hamas, under the guise of humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza, as part of a prior agreement with the armed groups to ensure their intervention and control over the region.

This was demonstrated once again by Qatar’s falsification of the beginning of the distribution of financial aid to the people of Gaza, as it goes to the families of Hamas movement, through what Ambassador Mohammed Al Emadi, Chairman of the Qatari Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza, announced the start of the month of March of financial aid to the families identified by Doha from Hamas affiliates in the Gaza Strip, starting yesterday, Tuesday 22/03/2022, through cooperation with the Qatar Fund for Development.

The so-called Chairman of the Qatari Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza, Mohammed Al Emadi, said: “The cash assistance Qatar transfers monthly will go to around 100,000 impoverished and needy families in the Gaza Strip, he said, equivalent to around $100 per family”.

The distribution of Qatari funds transferred to Hamas personnel is done through the UN, through the distribution centers that Qatar previously identified in coordination with Hamas in the Strip’s provinces, which number about 300 centers and shops, Mohammed Al Emadi said.

Since mid-2018, Qatar has been using the cover of financial support for Gaza families to claim solidarity with people in poor economic conditions, which has been suspended several times due to these corrupt suspicions in Qatar channeling funds to Hamas.

Letters between Qatar and Israel

This comes hours after what was published by the Hebrew website “Kan”, that there was an exchange of letters between Qatar and Israel at the end of last week, through the head of Mossad, Yossi Cohen, and a Qatari official (whose name was not specified), in order to maintain the calm atmosphere on the southern front of Israel, to ensure the transfer of funds to Gaza.

For Qatar, Hamas halted a rocket attack from Gaza over the events in East Jerusalem to ensure its employees and families receive cash this week, the website said.
