Lebanese analyst: Hezbollah has plunged Lebanon into political and economic disasters
One crisis after another, Hezbollah has been attacking Lebanon over the past period, due to its Iranian-backed terrorist plans to achieve their goals at the expense of other countries.
Over the past period, Lebanon has been involved in a number of economic and political crises and disasters, to serve Iran and implement those Iranian subversive schemes through the implementation of those absurd schemes that plunged Lebanon into severe crises.
Crises
Lebanese political analyst Ahmed al-Ghaz said Hezbollah is one of the main causes of Lebanon’s current political crises, wars and economic crises. It has even plunged Lebanon into diplomatic crises with a number of countries because of Hezbollah and its blatant interference in other countries’ affairs, the latest of which was the major diplomatic crisis with Saudi Arabia.
The Lebanese political analyst added: Hezbollah’s participation in regional wars has stopped the support of Arab countries friendly to Lebanon, which has greatly affected the internal situation in Lebanon, pointing out that Hezbollah’s practices and misjudgment in managing the situation have reflected negatively on Lebanon, and the price we pay today is the financial and economic collapse, and even severe political crises.
Will elections save the situation?
Lebanese elections scheduled for mid-May are reportedly another means of reform. However, only 45 % of voters who participated in the last Lebanese elections in 2018 said: They will vote for new parties, according to polls. Moreover, half the population does not plan to vote at all; this suggests dissatisfaction with the political system and the idea that justice will never be served.
