Al-Kadhimi to Saudi Crown Prince: “We are keen to consolidate joint Arab action”
Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi told Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz that Baghdad is committed to joint Arab and regional action.
“Al-Kadhimi exchanged greetings with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud in a phone call on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr”, the Iraqi prime minister’s media office said.
“Al-Kadhimi expressed his sincere wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the government and people of Saudi Arabia”, the official Iraqi News Agency reported.
“Iraq is keen on consolidating joint Arab and regional action for the stability of the region and the well-being of its people, and to build sustainable development for peace-loving people”, al-Kadhimi said.
According to the Iraqi statement, Prince Mohammed bin Salman offered “congratulations and blessings on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, conveying the wishes of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Iraqi people for welfare, stability and more bilateral cooperation in various fields and fields”.
