UAE president: We are continuing in effective coordination to promote joint Arab action
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, expressed his pleasure at participating in El Alamein’s brotherly consultative, which was held earlier in Egypt.
In a tweet on his official Twitter account, the UAE president said: “I was happy with the participation of my brothers in the meeting of the brotherly consultative scholars”, he said, adding that the UAE is actively coordinating with the brothers to promote joint Arab action and support sincere efforts to achieve stability, development and prosperity in the region.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi met at the Presidential Palace in the city of El Alamein, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, King Abdullah II of Jordan and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain.
The meeting of the two special scholars dealt with brotherly relations and various aspects of joint cooperation at various levels, said the Egyptian presidential spokesman. During the meeting, the leaders reviewed a number of regional and international issues and developments and exchanged views and views on them.
In this context, the leaders reiterated their support for any effort aimed at consolidating the foundations of peace, stability and joint cooperation at all levels, which are based on trust, mutual respect and common interests, in order to achieve the aspirations of all peoples of the region for progress, prosperity and development.
During the meeting, the leaders reviewed a number of issues and the latest regional and international developments and exchanged views on them, while the leaders of the brotherly countries affirmed their mutual keenness to continue fraternal consultations in a way that promotes stability, progress and prosperity in the region.
