Morocco’s King provides 90 tons of food aid to Lebanon

Morocco sent two military planes in Beirut on Saturday, transporting the first lot of essential food under the instructions of Morocco’s King Mohammed VI.

Indeed, Moroccan ambassador to Lebanon, Mohamed Karin, and members of the embassy, and a representative of the current Commander in Chief of the Lebanese Armed Forces, were received the aid. The lot was the first of eight military planes transporting basic food products to Lebanon.

King Mohammed declared that he would personally supply the big donation of aid. As the country suffers from its worst economic crisis in decades that was aggravated by the coronavirus pandemic, the 90 tons of food aid would go to citizens and Lebanon’s armed forces.
