A Houthi Proxy for the Muslim Brotherhood to Pressure Southern Yemen… What are the Implications?

The Southern Armed Forces in Yemen have achieved successes at all levels in the war against terrorism in recent periods, not limited to delivering successive blows to the Houthi and Muslim Brotherhood forces, or as the Yemeni media calls them, the “forces of evil.”

The south has proven during battles on various fronts that the Houthi militias are nothing but a rogue faction comprising a group of mercenaries who collaborate to undermine the security and stability system in the south, according to reports from “Al Mashhad Al Arabi.”

Meanwhile, elements of the Houthi militias suffered massive losses against the south, demonstrating their weakness and inability to threaten the nation’s security and stability, despite possessing a significant arsenal supported by specific parties, notably Iran.

The south’s successes have also revealed the state of servitude that binds the Houthi militias to their sister, the Muslim Brotherhood faction, in recent periods, unveiling the nature of the suspicious relations between the Houthis and the Muslim Brotherhood, as well as the extent of their common coordination in manufacturing terrorism.

This servitude between the Houthis and the Muslim Brotherhood has been the main cause of things worsening, leading to a further prolongation of the war and delaying the military decision against the terrorist militias, according to the same source.

As the south, through the efforts and sacrifices of its armed men, has thrown wide open the door to eliminating malicious and terrorist currents, it is imperative to undermine the political influence of terrorist currents.

The terrorist group of the Muslim Brotherhood has often exploited this political influence to provide huge services in favor of the Houthi militias, which has had a very negative impact on the stability process one way or another.

The Al-Islah party militia, affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, controls vast regions of Taiz province, while the Houthi militias control adjacent regions of Dhamar and Ibb provinces. Recently, joint coordination was announced between the two parties to manage the affairs of the province and exert pressure on the south.
