Elon Musk Cancels Kanye West’s Account on “X”

Elon Musk has canceled the Twitter account of American rapper Kanye West after a series of controversial posts containing anti-Semitic, misogynistic, and racist remarks.

This decision came after Musk confirmed that the public would no longer see West’s account. In his final tweet, West thanked Musk for “letting me vent,” describing the experience as therapeutic.

Kanye also stated that he was in a good mental state and felt at peace following his controversial comments.

In his latest attack, West targeted Taylor Swift, accusing her of releasing a song about destroying a Black man, referring to the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards incident. He also expressed frustration with Kendrick Lamar, claiming he was being exploited by “white people and Jews.”

In addition to his tweets, West aired a bizarre Super Bowl advertisement promoting his brand, “Yeezy.” The ad, filmed on his mobile phone, humorously explained that he had spent the entire ad budget on “new teeth.”

He also alleged that his reach on Twitter had been restricted, suggesting that Musk was suppressing his posts through “shadow banning.”

He hinted at escalating tensions between himself and Musk, who had unfollowed him on Twitter. In a separate tweet, West called Musk a “real Nazi,” fueling online speculation about the state of their relationship.

Milo Yiannopoulos, West’s media representative, confirmed that the rapper had voluntarily deleted his Twitter account for now and had not been banned.

Despite his break from the internet, West continued tweeting about various artists, including Travis Scott, R. Kelly, and Sean “Diddy” Combs. He also mentioned Kodak Black, stating that he felt inspired to travel to Florida to help him.

Mentioning Taylor Swift reignited their long-standing feud, which began in 2009 when West interrupted her acceptance speech at the MTV VMA. While they appeared to have reconciled over the years, tensions resurfaced in 2016 when West referenced Swift in his song Famous without her consent, leading to a public dispute. The feud escalated further when Kim Kardashian tweeted calling Swift a “snake” after releasing a phone call recording between West and Swift discussing the song lyrics.
