Emirati field hospital in Gaza begins providing its services… Details
A delegation from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs visited the comprehensive field hospital established by the United Arab Emirates within Gaza to provide necessary medical treatment and emergency care for Palestinians in the region.
The delegation, led by Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Development and International Organizations Sultan Al Shamsi, toured the hospital facilities. They received an explanation from the Emirati medical team about the operational processes and inspected the injured and patients residing in the hospital.
Al Shamsi stated in a press statement reported by WAM: “The Emirati Field Hospital in Gaza is part of the medical support provided by the UAE to the affected residents of Gaza due to the deterioration of the health system resulting from the aggression on the sector.”
He added that the continuous humanitarian and relief aid from the UAE to the Palestinian brothers since the beginning of the crisis reflects the established approach of the UAE, which has always been quick to respond to the needs of sisterly and friendly peoples in times of adversity and crises.
An Emirati medical team supervises the hospital with a capacity of over 150 beds, as part of the “The Gallant Knight 3” humanitarian operation to provide aid and humanitarian assistance to the residents of the Gaza Strip.
The hospital includes operating rooms qualified to perform various surgeries, including general surgery, pediatric surgery, and vascular surgery, as well as intensive care units for adults and children, an anesthesia department, and specialized clinics covering internal medicine, dentistry, orthopedics, psychiatry, family medicine, pediatrics, and obstetrics, in addition to supporting medical services.
The hospital also provides CT and X-ray services, a pharmacy, and is equipped with a laboratory containing the latest devices necessary for various types of tests and examinations, enhancing its ability to provide comprehensive treatment to its visitors and beneficiaries according to the best international standards and protocols.
