How Brad Pitt Received the News of His Daughters Dropping His Surname
American actor Brad Pitt is facing tough times with his family after three of his daughters dropped his surname.
According to the Spanish newspaper “Marca,” Brad’s “heart is broken” due to his daughter Shiloh’s action, who legally dropped his surname.
According to sources, Shiloh, upon turning eighteen last month, quickly moved to drop her father’s surname “Pitt” from her name to become simply “Shiloh Jolie.”
A close source to Brad told People magazine: “He is hurt and upset. Losing his daughters is not easy for him. He loves them and misses them, it’s very sad.”
The source added: “Brad is focused on having the best relationship with his daughters since his divorce from Angelina Jolie.”
It is worth noting that the legal action taken by Shiloh is not the first of its kind within the family, as three of Jolie and Pitt’s daughters have dropped their father’s surname in different ways, including Vivienne and Zahara.
Vivienne had dropped her father’s family name in the film The Outsiders, which her mother helped produce, according to the British newspaper “Daily Mail” last week.
