Malaysia: At least ten dead after plane crash on the highway

At least ten people died on Thursday in the accident of a private plane on a highway north of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
The plane, carrying six passengers and two pilots, had taken off from Langkawi International Airport and was heading to Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport.
“The first contact established by the plane with the Subang air traffic control tower was made at 2:47 pm local time, and it was authorized to land at 2:48 pm.
At 2:51 pm, the control tower observed smoke at the accident site, but there was no further contact with the plane,” stated a statement from the Malaysian Civil Aviation Authority.
