“Mohammed ben Zayed Humanities” launches women’s course in Islamic civilization


Mohammed ben Zayed University for Humanities has launched the “Women’s Course in Islamic Civilization”

The program includes a statement on the most important issues of women in the Arab and Islamic world, and their role, status, and achievements in civilizations of different eras, in conjunction with Emirati Women’s Day.

The launch of the program comes in light of the university’s efforts to enhance the presence of women in the university’s academic programs.

It highlights the exemplary status of women in civilizations by mentioning leading figures and bright models, introducing their rich history and highlighting their most important achievements in history.

It also addresses the strategic role women played in the development of science and arts, the advancement of nations, scientific innovation and excellence in various fields.

It addresses the major role of the United Arab Emirates in empowering women in various fields at the level of the United Arab Emirates, activating their role and active participation in all fields of life, contributing to sustainable development, developing and qualifying female human cadres and building them to be able to participate positively in national development programs, in addition to the importance of adapting to global changes while preserving cultural specificity.
