Today, Thursday, the Israeli army announced in a statement the killing of two field commanders of Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.
The army explained that one of the deceased was Ahmad al-Hajj Ali, the commander of the Hula region for Hezbollah, who “was responsible for hundreds of rocket launches” towards the Kiryat Shmona settlement.

The other was Mohammed Ali Hamdan, the commander of Hezbollah‘s anti-tank missile system in the Mais al-Jabal region.
The Israeli army stated that Hamdan was responsible for launching anti-tank rockets towards northern towns.

The announcement of Hajj Ali and Hamdan’s deaths follows the killing of Adham Jahhout, a Hezbollah leader, in an airstrike in the Quneitra region of Syria.
The Israeli army said that Jahhout “was passing information to Hezbollah for operations against Israel from the Golan.”
