Secret Plan
The newspaper reported that Dichter’s statements come to confirm the increasing reports of Israel’s secret plans to build an extensive new military infrastructure in Gaza, including the creation of camps and new roads in the northern and central parts of the sector.

Reserve officers who recently served in Gaza stated that the Israeli army spent 70 days demolishing homes to expand a military area known as the “Netzarim corridor,” which stretches between the Mediterranean coastline and the eastern fence of the sector.

Continuous Escalation

An Uncertain Future for the Sector
While Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejects proposals for the Palestinian Authority to return to managing the sector, the Israeli government has not provided a clear alternative plan and continues to stress that Hamas must be completely destroyed while maintaining long-term control over parts of Gaza.
