“The situation is catastrophic” : Myanmar Floods Leave 226 Dead
The death toll from the floods caused by Cyclone Yagi in Myanmar has risen to 226 dead and 77 missing, according to the official television announcement on Monday evening.
This new figure is double the one reported by the country’s military junta on Sunday, which stated 113 deaths, according to AFP.
