What happened to Dalal Abed Aziz after she learned of the departure of Samir Ghanim ?

A medical source and one of the supervisors of the treatment of the late artist, Dalal Abd Aziz, revealed the causes of the sudden deterioration in her health, which led to her death on Saturday, after a painful journey with the repercussions of the coronavirus, which also caused the death of her companion, the late artist Samir Ghanem.

The source told Sky News Arabia: “A few days ago, the artist was preparing for a lung transplant operation, but knowing the news of the death of her husband, artist Samir Ghanem, led to the deterioration of her health and death.”

He added: “The deterioration of the condition of artist Dalal Abd Aziz began, Friday, when the artist learned of the death of her husband, artist Samir Ghanem, who died of the novel coronavirus.”

The family had initially refrained from informing her of her husband’s departure, so as not to have adverse consequences for her health.

The medical source, who preferred not to be named, said that after learning of her husband’s death, Dalal Abd Aziz was in poor health and stopped breathing for several times, until the heart muscle and the lack of oxygen in the lung stopped on Saturday morning.

The doctors efforts did not succeed in bringing the artist back to life, the source said.

Artist Dalal Abdel Aziz, who suffered from the fallout of the Corona virus three months ago, was recovering from Covid-19 disease, but needed a lung transplant, before deteriorating and being unable to survive.
