With the Support of Yemeni Brotherhood Militias… A Murder Suspect Poses as a Security Director
A wanted criminal continues to impersonate the security director of a district in the southern part of Taiz Governorate, under the protection of a military brigade controlled by the Muslim Brotherhood.
Official documents published by Al-Omana Net revealed that the wanted individual, Mansour Ali Saeed Al-Bir, continues to pose as the security director of the Al-Maqatirah district, which is administratively part of Lahij Governorate, despite official directives issued by the district and governorate declaring this position illegal.
Al-Bir has been imposed in this position by the leadership of the 4th Mountain Infantry Brigade, led by Brotherhood-affiliated Colonel Abu Bakr Al-Jubouli, for more than two years, despite directives issued at the time by the district’s general director preventing him from usurping this position due to multiple violations and offenses he has committed.
The governor of Lahij, Major General Ahmad Turki, also issued a directive to the security and civil authorities in the governorate, instructing them not to recognize Al-Bir as the security director of the Al-Maqatirah district, and to instead deal with the officer officially appointed to this position, Colonel Saeed Jabir Ali.
The document also reveals that Al-Bir sent a memorandum to the general director of security in Tur al-Baha, Lahij, under the title of “security director of the Al-Maqatirah district,” requesting the arrest of two citizens to force them to pay certain sums of money.

It is noteworthy that Al-Bir is wanted for the murder of two young men, along with six others, including the brothers of the commander of the 4th Infantry Brigade affiliated with the Brotherhood.
Sources confirmed that the case has been referred to the judiciary to prosecute the accused, including Al-Bir, under the title of “fugitives from justice.”

It is ironic that the leadership of the 4th Brigade, affiliated with the Islah Party, participates in joint military security campaigns in the Al-Shamayatayn district in southern Taiz, while refusing to hand over dozens of wanted criminals, protecting them, and installing them as security directors, as is the case with Al-Bir.
Moreover, the 4th Mountain Infantry Brigade’s forces are accused of committing hundreds of crimes and violations against the people of Al-Maqatirah and continue to detain around 25 residents of the area for over a year, including children, in connection with the explosion of a vehicle belonging to the brigade, even though the Houthi cell responsible for the explosion has been uncovered.
