Dissident leaders: Ennahdha has fallen forever because of Ghannouchi’s policies
A state of disintegration and divisions is gripping the Muslim Brotherhood’s Ennahdha Movement in Tunisia, as successive accusations are being made against the leadership of the extremist movement, headed by Rached Ghannouchi, the leader of the movement.
Internal divisions
A sharp attack led by a number of Ennahdha dissident leaders in Tunisia against the head of the movement, Rached Ghannouchi, for what they described as repeated maneuvers, where Ghannouchi occasionally claims he intends to leave office, but returns in his decision using lies to remain at the forefront of the Tunisian political scene.
Politically over
Imad Hammami, a Tunisian legal and former Ennahdha leader, described Rached Ghannouchi as “a satisfactory condition”, stressing that the actions of the President of the Ennahdha Movement reflect his insistence on remaining president for life,” considering that he “ended politically” forever, he said that those around him in the movement are “a few incompetent groups with interests tied to him,” pointing out that the Brotherhood movement is the main cause of the economic and social crisis the country is experiencing.
The demise of Ennahdha
Karim Abdel Salam, one of Ennahdha’s dissident leaders, said that Rached Ghannouchi had caused the political and social elimination of Ennahdha through his extremist policies, adding that the people of all sects had lost faith in Rachid Ghannouchi and his movement, and that the terrorist movement was on its way to completely ending its full responsibility for the crises and terrorism the country had been plunged into during their rule.
The leader who defected from the Brotherhood in Tunisia said that Ennahdha is living in its worst phase during that period, due to its leadership, which led the movement to an impasse and an ongoing crisis with the Tunisian people.
He added that the Brotherhood movement witnessed many resignations in the past period since the July decisions, due to mistrust of Ghannouchi, which caused the collapse of the Ennahdha movement in Tunisia, as it is not the first time that the President of Ennahdha announced his readiness to abandon the presidency and exit from political life, and the movement had lost about a year ago the support of more than 100 leaders, who resigned from it, due to their refusal to nominate Ghannouchi for a new term.
