The Muslim Brotherhood and Iran… Alliances to Achieve Agendas
Journalist and political writer Hamid Qarmân said: “The current situation of the Muslim Brotherhood regionally, along with the waning of Turkish support from Erdogan, has led them to make Hamas an organizational lever for their political expansion, thus strengthening an alliance with Iran that ensures their return to the regional scene and grants them a presence in any upcoming political arrangements.”
Qarmân added : “Iran is the new target for the Muslim Brotherhood, and it will activate the group’s cells in Arab countries to achieve Iranian agendas, based on the fact that the Mullahs’ regime is capable of aligning with its plans and implementing them to gain power in Middle Eastern countries, akin to the experiences of the Hashd al-Shaabi militias in Iraq, the Houthi group in Yemen, the consolidation of Assad regime’s pillars in Syria, and the rule of Hezbollah in Lebanon.”
Qarmân emphasized that the Iranian regime’s quest to complete its expansion project in the Middle East, by exploiting the fervor of the Brothers to access power, threatens with a chaotic danger whose contours are beginning to emerge in some streets of Arab countries, and which may expand to include other Arab countries.
Many reports and articles, relayed by Arab and international news agencies and newspapers, have warned of the dangers of the alliance between “Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood.”
According to many writers, Tehran is currently weaving its threads in the Jordanian capital, Amman, in coordination with the Brothers, with the aim of making it the fifth Arab capital under its control, after Baghdad, Damascus, Sanaa, and Beirut.
