Last month, Tunisian authorities banned meetings in all Ennahdha offices, and police shut down the headquarters of the pro-Brotherhood Salvation Front, following the arrest of Rached Ghannouchi, leader of the Tunisian Muslim Brotherhood, on 17 April on charges of conspiring against state security.

The war with the Muslim Brotherhood is comprehensive and its legal and political responsibility is with regard to the crimes of terrorism and corruption, which have extended to an attempt to strike and disrupt tourism throughout the republic, through the lies and lies they promote to serve their destructive agenda after they have thrown themselves into the arms of the outside world and followed their doom, said Tunisian political and legal researcher Hazem Qasouri. Qasouri added that the dissolution of Ennahdha and the hybrid entities that it is riding in are close to one, as are the associations that are considered its funding reservoir.
