The American fast-food giant McDonald‘s reached an agreement on Thursday to acquire Aloniel, the owner of 225 outlets of the brand in Israel, amidst the Gaza war and boycott-related challenges.

According to Agence France-Presse, the American group said in a statement that Aloniel’s president and owner, Omri Padan, “announced the signing of an agreement to sell Aloniel to the McDonald‘s group” on Thursday.
