The website Down Detector, which tracks outages, reported that the streaming platform stopped functioning for thousands of users in the United States late Friday night as viewers were watching a highly anticipated boxing match between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul.

According to the site, the number of users reporting issues reached 85,021 by 10:35 PM Eastern Time (03:35 GMT on Saturday).

The report noted that the outage primarily affected users in major urban areas, including New York, Seattle, and Los Angeles, with scattered reports from other regions, according to Reuters.
