Shooting in the American capital, Washington

U.S. media have reported several shooting deaths in Washington, D.C.

“The incident occurred when 20 to 30 shots were fired outside a 14 Street restaurant, prompting many people nearby to flee for safety,” she said.

It quoted eyewitnesses as saying that they “saw a person in a black car firing at the pavement of 14 Street, injuring several people with bullets,” pointing out that “several people are being treated in ambulances.”

“In the aftermath of the incident, a large number of emergency services were called to the scene, while authorities are working to secure it,” she said.
