UAE and Jordan. Signing of a memorandum in the field of military industries


The UAE and Jordan have signed a memorandum of understanding in the military industry.

Staff Major General Dr. Mubarak Said Ghaffan Al-Jabri, Assistant Undersecretary for Support and Defense Industries, and Brigadier General Ibrahim Salman Al-Naimi, Assistant Chief of Joint Staff for Planning, Organization, and Defense Resources in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, signed today a Memorandum of Understanding “remotely” in the field of military industries, in order to enhance cooperation between the two brotherly countries in the military sector.

On this occasion, Staff Major General Dr. Mubarak Saeed Ghaffan Al-Jabri said: The signing of the memorandum coincides with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan’s celebration of the 100th anniversary of its establishment, during which it played an honorable and active role in protecting Arab national security, supporting moderation and stability in the region, providing a model for good governance and leadership that is valued and respected regionally and internationally, extending a helping hand and brotherhood to the brothers and supporting them in good times and in bad.

He added : The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on this day will add a new dimension to the distinguished relations between the two sides, he said, stressing that cooperation in the defense industry and research and development is important and vital for both countries because of the positive dimensions and repercussions that benefit all elements of this sector and lead to complementarity in utilizing the existing constituents in both countries to achieve the strategic goals set by our wise leadership.
