WhatsApp Allows You to Create AI Versions of Yourself

The popular app “WhatsApp” is working on a new feature that allows users to create images of themselves generated by artificial intelligence.

This feature, called “Imagine Me,” recently appeared in the app’s beta version.

According to a recent report, the new feature is still under development, but leaked information indicates that users will be asked to upload photos when they sign up.

Once users provide enough photos, they will be able to ask “Meta AI” to create an AI-generated image of themselves by simply typing “Imagine Me” when chatting with the recently launched “Meta AI chatbot.”

Since this is an experimental feature, users will need to activate it manually.

Who will control the feature?

As the process is handled independently, it is unlikely that “Meta AI” will be able to read the contents of your conversation. However, the image will be automatically shared in the chat.

Users will have full control over the feature and will be able to delete all their setup photos at any time from the Meta AI settings.

In the past few months, the “WhatsApp” app has introduced many new features, such as the ability to set one-minute voice messages in Status, redesigning the user interface for voice calls, and the ability to share screen and sound on iPhone during video calls.

However, the AI-generated image feature may not be available anytime soon, as the chatbot rollout is still ongoing and has not reached all users yet.

To see if you have access, look for a new blue icon on the main chat list screen.
