In another tweet, Mubarak tweeted: Erdogan, after mapping out the Arab countries and threatening to drop flags, will recoil and change course for Russia, and if Erdogan persists in his madness, he is waiting for the Turkish lira the dollar to reach 15 Turkish liras.
Israeli press reports revealed that “the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, intervened and put an end to the case of the Israeli couple who had been detained in Turkey”, Israel Hayom newspaper reported, quoting a senior diplomatic official, that “Erdogan’s intervention put an end to the incident“.
Another diplomatic official told the paper: “As soon as Erdogan’s office was informed of the incident, the process that allowed their release began, and Erdogan is personally responsible for the conclusion of this incident,” he said, adding that “once the Turkish president’s office was informed of the case, he gave his representatives all the clarity to put an end to the matter.“
In response to Erdogan’s action, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Foreign Minister Yair Lapid issued statements, which read: “After joint efforts with Turkey, Mordi and Natalie Okkinen were released from prison on their way home in Israel,” adding: “We thank the President of Turkey and his Government for their cooperation and look forward to welcoming the couple back home“.

What is provocative is that the Turkish President, who rejected the rapprochement between Israel and the Arab countries and his strong targeting of them and his trade in the Palestinian issue, said that Turkish media reported that the Turkish President stressed during the call that the relations between Turkey and Israel are important for the stability and security of the Middle East region, stressing the need to reduce the differences between the two countries.
