Mohamed bin Zayed directs treatment for a thousand Palestinian children in UAE Hospitals with their families
Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates, has instructed the hosting of a thousand Palestinian children, along with their families from the Gaza Strip, to provide them with all the necessary medical and healthcare they need in the country’s hospitals until they recover and return.
This came during a phone call made by Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs, today, with Mariana Spoljaric, the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
The initiative to host children from the Gaza Strip and provide them with medical and healthcare is part of the ongoing efforts by the UAE to provide relief to the Palestinian people, especially the children, in response to the difficult humanitarian conditions they are facing.
Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Mariana Spoljaric discussed, during the call, the importance of delivering humanitarian and medical aid to civilians in the Gaza Strip intensively, continuously, and safely, as well as the necessity of regional and international efforts to enhance the humanitarian response to the needs of those affected by the current crisis.
