Yesterday, Southern activists launched a hashtag on the platform “X,” #Southern Rejects TheBrotherhood, expressing their rejection of the regional and partisan rhetoric that the Muslim Brotherhood has escalated in recent days, taking advantage of popular discontent with the deteriorating living conditions, particularly in Hadhramaut.
According to the newspaper (Al-Omana), the hashtag came amid ongoing developments in Hadhramaut, particularly the meeting of some tribal representatives in the plateau, and the attempt by the Brotherhood to exploit the meeting to spread regionalism and undermine the social fabric of the South.

Southern activists called for boycotting media channels and platforms affiliated with the Brotherhood due to the sedition and regionalism stirred by these channels, and for boycotting the accounts of Brotherhood activists.
The activists stated that the Brotherhood is racing against time to maintain its influence in Hadhramaut after its resounding defeat in Aden, Abyan, Shabwa, and Al-Mahrah, by adopting tribal rhetoric to sway public opinion in the governorate and gain as much support as possible.
The activists also called for boycotting and banning platforms managed by the Muslim Brotherhood under the names of southern governorates, such as the platforms of the sons of Abyan, the sons of Aden, the sons of Hadhramaut, the sons of Al-Mahrah, and Socotra, which are managed by well-known Brotherhood figures.
