In an interview with Al-Hayat TV, Al-Namnam stressed that the Brotherhood has no genuine project for construction or development. Their mission, he noted, has always been confined to destruction and subversion. He pointed out that since its founding by Hassan Al-Banna, the group has emerged as an anarchic movement whose primary goal was to dismantle nation-states, according to Al-Watan newspaper.
Al-Namnam revealed that wherever the Brotherhood has taken root – whether in Egypt, the Gulf, or Sudan – it has carried out the same destructive mission.

He gave the example of Sudan, where the Brotherhood ruled between 1989 and 2019, leaving behind what he described as a “catastrophic model.” Their rule culminated in a humanitarian tragedy that, according to international reports, claimed the lives of more than 180,000 people, in addition to unprecedented human and environmental disasters, including the burial of entire villages in Darfur.
The writer and thinker also shed light on the hidden ties between British colonialism and the Muslim Brotherhood, affirming that London played a central role in establishing the group with the purpose of weakening the Egyptian national movement and paving the way for the Zionist project in the region, particularly through the implementation of the Balfour Declaration in Palestine.
