”Arab resentment” over Brotherhood exploitation of Palestinian cause

Experts and observers have denounced the Muslim Brotherhood’s approach in exploiting the Palestinian cause and the successive events in Al-Aqsa Mosque in the organization’s political propaganda, and its attempt to appeal to the Arab people and attract them towards the group’s ideas and slogans.

Hundreds of writers and experts launched a sharp attack on the group, as recent events in al-Aqsa have exploited the Arab regimes to attack, provoke the people and direct Arab public opinion against the regimes in favor of their destructive agenda.

Tarek Abu al-Saad, an Egyptian researcher specializing in political Islam, said that the Brotherhood is living and deriving its popular and religious presence at the expense of the Palestinian cause. He said that they have never been occupied with the issue or supported it, except within the limits of the benefits and political gains they would get.

On his Facebook page, Abu Al-Saad explained that there are many testimonies confirming the historical exploitation of the Palestinian cause by the Muslim Brotherhood organization, most notably by throwing the name of Hamas in the middle of any Palestinian popular movement against the occupation, amid the preoccupation with events to gain new propaganda and spaces for movement.

Abu al-Saad pointed out that with any incidents of attacks on Palestinian brothers, Muslim Brotherhood figures are asked to support them with fiery statements, while electronic committees rush to smear some to account for their media symbols, a battle the Brotherhood is used to playing for the organization.

Abu al-Saad added that the group has worked over the past years to track some writers and urged them to use the Brotherhood’s propaganda, which does not serve the cause but rather serves their media form.

The Muslim Brotherhood is trying to rely on the grievances of the Palestinian people, and they are real, but they are being used to settle scores with their governments in any Arab country, he said, noting that the group’s actions harm the Palestinian cause and do not serve its interests, but only its own.

The Egyptian researcher stressed the importance of the Arab people’s full support for the rights of the Palestinians and their cause, and to deal cautiously with the politicized propaganda of the Brotherhood to gain sympathy and support by exploiting it.

Yemeni activist Ghazal Makdashi wondered on Twitter : ” where are the people of honey and black grain (the Brotherhood)? Why don’t they go to liberate Palestine?” “We have contributed to the Aqsa Mosque over the past years and at the time of seriousness and we have not seen any news for them, at least support them with money and weapons, just like Iran.”

UAE preacher Wassem Yousef denounced the Muslim Brotherhood’s attack on the Arab regimes because of the recent incidents. “They insult your homeland. They burn the flag of your homeland, they insult your leadership, expiate you and expiate your homeland, they go up the pulpits to insult your homeland, in the wind they call on your homeland, and then they ask rudely why you are silent!!”.

He continued on Twitter : “The countries led and controlled by Muslim Brotherhood will not find those who stand with them, as the Brotherhood’s approach is hatred.”

On Twitter, an account called the Muslim Brotherhood Reformer posted : ” do you know that the tragedies of the Palestinian people were caused by the Brotherhood’s Hamas? Do you know that the end justifies the base on which the existence of the Brotherhood is based? “The aim of Hamas is to raise the issue of resistance and to bring money and aid by means of harassment against Israel to burn the Palestinians. This is achieved, and the Brotherhood believes, this act is a matter of God’s kinship, they are hired for it.”

“What Israel and Hamas are practicing is nothing more than a black magic ritual, promoted by the corrupt Brotherhood through their media. In this holy month, they are moving closer to their accursed devil and to search for a loophole they may honor in the worn-out wall as they see it and through their own indicators,” said Saudi Arabia’s Arab Heart account.
