Iraqi Man Miraculously Revived After 30 Minutes of Cardiac Arrest

In a rare incident witnessed in Iraq, a young man came back to life after his heart stopped beating completely for over 30 minutes.

The Iraqi Ministry of Health issued a statement revealing details of the incident, as reported by local media.

The statement reported that doctors at Al-Hamza General Hospital in Al-Diwaniyah province successfully revived a 20-year-old patient after he suffered a cardiac arrest.

The patient underwent cardiopulmonary resuscitation and electrical shocks, which were able to bring the young man back to life according to the statement, which did not disclose further details about the condition of the twenty-year-old patient.

Reviving the heart back to motion is scientifically permissible if it stops pumping oxygenated blood to the brain and the rest of the body.

The chances of the patient returning to life increase if immediate medical treatment is administered, and any delay in treatment increases the chances of the patient losing their life.
