Kuwaiti Islamic Scholar and Muslim Brotherhood Leader Tareq Al-Suwaidan: ‘October 7 Was A Clear Start’ To The Liberation Of Palestine; Rome Will Be In Our Hands One Day; Mohamed Morsi Supplied The Equipment Used To Dig The Tunnels In Gaza
Kuwaiti Islamic scholar and leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, Tareq Al-Suwaidan, addressed a gathering in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where he revealed his recent meeting with , a prominent Palestinian figure. During his speech, Al-Suwaidan asserted his belief in the eventual liberation of Palestine, emphasizing October 7 as a pivotal moment in this journey.
He adamantly stated that Hamas cannot be defeated and likened the current Muslim control of Istanbul to his vision of Rome falling under Muslim authority one day.
Furthermore, Al-Suwaidan criticized Arab leaders who advocate for normalizing relations with Israel, branding them as betrayers of Islam and the Islamic community. He claimed that all the tunnels in Gaza were constructed within a single year during the presidency of Mohamed Morsi, who, he alleged, provided the necessary equipment.
Reflecting on the current state of the Muslim world and Gaza, Al-Suwaidan expressed gratitude for Muslim control of Istanbul and envisioned a future where every household and tent would be occupied by Muslims. Despite ongoing military operations, Al-Suwaidan remained optimistic about Palestine’s liberation, stating that Hamas had only lost less than 20% of its strength amidst the bombings.
“And this leads us to the final question: Why is the Arab world trending towards normalizing relations with Israel? It’s important to clarify that not all Arab nations are heading in this direction. However, those that are, have collectively barred my entry into their territories. It’s quite amusing, really. I’ve been banned from eleven Arab countries simply because of our outspoken opposition to normalization. This, in our view, equates to treason. Normalizing ties with Israel is, in essence, betraying Islam and the Islamic community. Just observe the ongoing developments in Palestine and the extensive tunnel networks utilized by Palestinians. It’s evident, if one pays attention, that these tunnels, spanning hundreds of kilometers, were constructed within a single year under the presidency of Mohamed Morsi. He provided the necessary equipment for this endeavor.”
