Saudi Arabia says it intercepted hostile air targets against Jeddah

The Ministry of Defense said on Saturday that Saudi Arabia intercepted and destroyed a “hostile air target” against Jeddah.

On Tuesday, the Saudi navy intercepted and destroyed a remote-controlled explosive-laden boat off the Red Sea port of Yanbu.

The Ministry of Defense spokesman Turki al-Malki will say that it was destroyed in accordance with the rules of engagement.

He said that the Ministry of National Defense is taking drastic measures to deal with any hostile attempts to target Saudi Arabia’s economic facilities.
