US analyst reveals Iran’s plans to serve the interests of Hezbollah and the Houthis to sabotage the region

Numerous international actions have been taken to counter the terrorism and subversive plans of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard in the region and the expansion it seeks in other countries of the world through reliance on international money laundering networks.

Confronting Revolutionary Guard Terrorism

Over the past few days, the United States has sanctioned an international oil smuggling and money laundering network led by officials in the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard that has facilitated the sale of hundreds of millions of dollars worth of Iranian oil to Quds Force and Lebanese group Hezbollah.

According to numerous reports, the oil smuggling network has been a crucial element in raising oil revenues for Iran, and Washington will tighten sanctions on Tehran if no agreement is reached.

James Risch, the Republican chairman of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, tweeted: “It was absurd that the administration of (US President Joe Biden) thought about removing the Revolutionary Guard from the terrorist lists and it is a threat to Americans and to American national security”.

Iran’s plans

Edmund Ghareeb, a political and academic analyst in the United States, said that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard represents a great danger to the entire region. He pointed out that the United States is using all its strong tools firmly to confront the Iranian Revolutionary Guard through the prohibition and imposition of sanctions on all networks affiliated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, which it employs to serve Iranian groups and organizations as well.

The political analyst in America added that Iran employs these various networks to serve its terrorist and subversive plans in the region and to employ them to spread terrorism in the region, in addition to serving the terrorist Hezbollah to spread sabotage and destruction in the region, in addition to those Iranian networks serving the interests of the Houthis in the region to destroy and ruin Yemen.
