Mbappé loses a fortune because of PSG
Paris Saint-Germain’s decision to bring Kylian Mbappé back into his fold was not without cost for the French superstar.
Mbappé had been dropped from the first team, with PSG boss Nasser Al-Khelaifi publicly declaring that he must either renew his contract or agree to go elsewhere.
As it stands, neither has occurred, but tricolor crack is back in the group. The team, relayed by Sport, claims that Mbappé gave up part of his substantial loyalty bonuses in order to facilitate his return. Estimated at between 60 and 80 million euros, these bonuses would save PSG around 100 million euros, according to Goal.
If the scorer had to renew his contract with PSG, even with an exit clause allowing Real Madrid to sign it at a reduced price, it is not hard to imagine that the Blancos are the ones who end the saga. With Jude Bellingham stealing the limelight right now, Real Madrid could decide that another attacker with less gravity is more beneficial.
