French Foreign Ministry: Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia contradict international law
On Tuesday, the French Foreign Ministry affirmed that the Houthi assaults on Saudi Arabia oppose international law, and they are Iranian proxy assaults.
The foreign ministry spokeswoman informed Al-Arabiya that the total fire in the region would not be in anyone’s interest. She also said: We are following the situation between America and Iran with concern because it carries risks to regional security, affirming that the Iranians echoed our call for restraint, and no one there called for immediate retaliation.
Iran’s return to the Vienna pact is necessary for the Biden administration to review it, she said, adding that the Vienna Agreement is essential so that Iran never acquires a nuclear weapon. She also affirmed that the Vienna deal should be extended to include arresting Iran’s missile programs.
Concerning the Turkish question, the French Foreign Ministry reported that Turkey must be a responsible neighbor by deeds, not words. It also said that Islam is part of our history and identity, and we have a deep respect for it.
