Netanyahu and King Mohammed VI discussed the bilateral ties
Netanyahu’s office declared that Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, communicated on Friday with Morocco’s King Mohammed VI and invited him to visit Israel.
According to the Israeli statement, the two leaders discussed going on a US-brokered deal pronounced earlier this month to normalize bilateral relations. Furthermore, Netanyahu thanked the King Mohammed for hosting an official Israeli delegation this week.
In the same context, the Royal Court related in a statement that the King Mohammed stressed the close relations between the Moroccan Jewish community and the monarchy. The King is welcoming the relations resume with Israel, and said that Morocco’s position concerning Palestine still unchanged.
Moreover, Rabat calls for the two-state solution and the unique character of Jerusalem as a city of three religions.
