Discovery of a Napoli fan’s body in Milan’s stands
Italian police found the body of a Napoli football fan at the “Diego Armando Maradona” stadium after the match between Napoli and Milan.
According to the Spanish newspaper “Marca,” the man, aged 42, was discovered under the stands designated for Milan fans during the match on Sunday in the tenth round of the Italian league. The police found the body at around 2:00 AM shortly after the match ended in a 2-2 draw between Napoli and Milan.
According to the Italian newspaper “La Gazzetta dello Sport,” one of the victim’s friends informed the police that they had sneaked into the stadium through a tunnel, attempting to reach the stands without purchasing a ticket to attend the match.
The newspaper reported that the victim had initially advanced and climbed to try to reach the stadium but fell from a height of about 20 meters from an empty space in the stands to the ground, prompting his friend to stop attempting to enter.
