UAE FM: The Return of Syria to Arab League is inevitable
On Tuesday, the United Arab Emirates’ foreign minister, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, stated that Syria’s return to the Arab League was inevitable.
He said during a joint news conference in Abu Dhabi, with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov that Syria’s return to the Arab League is in the interest of Syria and other countries of the region.
However, He said that the Caesar Act was the greatest challenge that is obstructing common work with Syria.
On his part, Lavrov stated that Russia greets the normalization deals reached between some Arab countries and Israel, saying that his country was prepared to help in resolving the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
The ministers discussed developments issues in the Gulf. While, Lavrov is in visit to the region for vising later Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Moreover, the Russian foreign ministry declared that it’s maybe he would meet with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
