Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi emphasized the importance of cooperation between Iraq, Egypt, and Jordan, as well as regional coordination on the path of consolidating peace and stability in the region.
He noted Iraq’s pride in its relationship with Egypt and Jordan and the importance of developing it in various fields and all that supports the prospect of economic development, prosperity and joint food security.
Prime Minister said that building on the decisions of the summits that brought together the leaders of the three countries, the most recent of which was the summit hosted by Baghdad, will lead to a better future for the region.
Security and defense cooperation
The meeting discuss joint security and defense cooperation against terrorist organizations, and affirm the continued coordination and exchange of experiences and information in this context, in order to ensure a secure environment for economic prosperity, promote the results of sustainable development and serve the peoples of the three brotherly countries and the peoples of the region.

The professor of international relations added: The meetings between the three countries confirmed many concepts and mechanisms for implementing the signed memoranda of understanding, which the Iraqi government confirmed in hosting the summit.

Dr. Abdul Kareem al-Wazen, an Iraqi academic, said that the Foreign Ministers’ Summit of Egypt, Iraq, and Jordan is a continuation of previous talks.
